We have just finished a project with about two hundred tasks still showing as in progress. Is there a way to close them in one go rather than one at a time?

Select them in the list view and there is a bulk action in the toolbar. It is easy to miss — it only appears once something is selected.
Worth checking the selection covers exactly what you mean before applying it, because there is no single undo for a bulk change.
