Summary PaT works best in Google Chrome at 75% to 90% zoom. If PaT looks squashed, open Chrome's menu (the three little dots in the top right corner) and click the minus (-) button in the Zoom row to zoom out, starting at about 80%, until it looks right.
Steps
Introduction. PaT is best viewed at 75% to 90% zoom in your browser.
Note. Before diving into PaT, it's crucial to master your zoom settings. Since you'll be using PaT on various devices with different screen resolutions, this skill is essential for a seamless experience wherever you are in your business journey.
Step 1
Open PaT in Google Chrome. PaT is optimised for the best performance on Google Chrome. If you are not already using Chrome, it is highly recommended that you download it and make it your default browser.
Step 2
PaT looks squashed when everything is too big for the screen. On the Task Wall, for example, the columns run off the right of the screen and the round buttons at the bottom are cut off. If so, click Chrome's menu icon, the three little dots in the top right corner of the browser window. Chrome's menu opens.
Step 3
In the menu, find Zoom, about halfway down. It shows the current zoom, such as 100%, between a minus (-) button and a plus (+) button. Click the minus (-) button to zoom out. On a new PC, around 80% is usually a good starting point. Adjust it until you find a setting that's comfortable: most users find their sweet spot between 75% and 90%.
Result. PaT now fits the screen better: more of the Task Wall's columns fit across it, and the row of round buttons at the bottom of the screen is in full view.
