Summary An SD's main page has three useful features at the right end of the row of purple buttons: you can hide or show the members list to give the SD more room on the screen, turn the SD into a PDF to download or print, and copy the SD's URL to share it. What someone can do with the link depends on their access: a member with Author rights has full access, while someone who is not a member, or has only Guest access, can view the SD but cannot edit it or add chat messages.
Steps
Step 1
Open the SD. In the row with the purple buttons and the search box, near the right end, click the diagonal arrow (pointing both ways), just right of the printer icon. The members list at the top of the SD is hidden, so the SD moves up and you gain more room on the screen.
Step 2
To show the members list again, click the same diagonal arrow.
Making a PDF of the SD
Step 3
To turn the SD into a PDF, click the printer icon, just left of the diagonal arrow. The SD opens as a PDF in a viewer over the page.
Step 4
At the top right of the viewer, click the download icon (an arrow pointing down) to download the PDF, or the printer icon next to it to print it.
Sharing the SD's link
Step 5
To share the SD, click the share button (three dots joined by lines) at the far right of the row. The SD's URL is copied to your clipboard. Note 1: If you share the link with a PaT user who is already a member of the SD with Author rights, they will have full access. Note 2: If the person is not a member, or has only Guest access, they can view the entire SD, read comments and download attachments, but cannot edit it or add chat messages.
