Summary Bulletin Board moderators approve, deny or edit posts on the board. When someone asks for a change to their post, a moderator can make the edit on their behalf. Open the list of bulletins from the tile view, under System Administration and System Activity, open the post's text in the text editor and make the change. Then save it correctly, in three clicks: ...see less, Save, and the save icon on the post's row.
Steps
Note. As a Bulletin Board moderator, you're responsible for approving, denying or editing posts on the board. If someone contacts you asking for changes to their post, you can make the edits on their behalf, as the steps below show.
Step 1
Click the toggle switch in the row of icons at the top right of the screen, between the gauge and the headset. The tile view opens, with your tiles at the top and a list of sections below them.
Step 2
Click System Administration, the last section in the list, to expand it. A row of tiles appears below it.
Step 3
Click the System Activity tile, the third in the row, with a folder icon. The System Activity page opens, with a row of tabs across the top.
Step 4
Click Bulletins, the last tab at the top of the page.
Step 5
The Bulletins tab lists all the Bulletin Board posts you can approve, delete or edit, one row per post. Each row shows who wrote the post, its Comment Header, and its text under Comment. To find a post, use the Search box above the list.
Editing the post
Step 6
To edit a post, click its text in the Comment column. The text editor opens over it, with formatting buttons at the top and Save and Cancel at the bottom.
Step 7
A long post is shortened in the editor. Click ...see more at the end of the text to show all of it.
Step 8
Edit the text as the writer asked, for example by selecting a paragraph and deleting it.
Saving the change
Step 9
When you have made your changes, click ...see less at the end of the text to collapse it. You must do this to make sure your changes are saved.
Step 10
Click Save at the bottom of the text editor, to the left of Cancel. The editor closes.
Step 11
Then click the save icon to finalise your changes: the small floppy disk at the left end of the post's row, the second of its three small icons. Its tooltip reads Save changes.
Step 12
To leave the page, click the toggle switch at the top right of the screen again.
