Summary You can respond to colleagues' posts on the Bulletin Board. Like or heart a post, open its comments to reply to, like, heart or report them, and add your own comment with attachments, web links or embed codes such as videos.
Steps
Introduction. Sharing feedback on the Bulletin Board means interacting with others' posts. It helps foster collaboration, share ideas and build community.
Step 1
Open the Bulletin Board: click the green Bulletin Board (BB) tab on the right edge of the screen.
Step 2
The Bulletin Board opens as a panel on the right of the screen, listing your colleagues' posts. PaT makes it easy to engage with them on the Bulletin Board.
Step 3
To show support for a post, like or 'heart' it: click the thumbs-up or the heart, on the right of the post.
Reading and responding to comments
Step 4
The number after COMMENTS, at the bottom right of the post, is how many comments it has.
Step 5
To read the comments, click MORE, at the bottom left of the post. The whole post opens in the panel, with its comments below it.
Step 6
You can reply to, like, heart and report other comments. Under each comment, REPLY is at the left; the thumbs-up, the heart and the report icon (a circle with a line through it) are at the right.
Step 7
To go back to the list of posts, click the back arrow at the top left of the panel.
Adding your own comment
Step 8
To add your own comment to a post, click Add a comment, the button under the bottom right corner of the post. The Leave a comment panel opens.
Step 9
Type your comment in the Bulletin Content (no cut and paste allowed) box at the top of the panel.
Step 10
You can also add attachments, URL links and embed codes, to enrich your comment with extra resources, supporting documents or multimedia elements. Each has its own purple button under the box, to the left of POST COMMENT.
Step 11
The first button, a paperclip, adds an attachment. Attachments allow users to download files directly, such as PDFs or images, making it easy to share detailed information.
Step 12
The second button, a chain link, adds a URL link. URL links direct users to external web pages for further reading or resources, expanding the depth of your content.
Step 13
The third button, </>, adds an embed code. Embed codes are especially handy for adding interactive elements like videos, social media posts, maps or other web content directly into your post. They let users engage with multimedia or live information without leaving the platform. For example, you might embed a YouTube tutorial, a Google Map location, or a tweet with live updates.
Step 14
When you are done, click POST COMMENT, the wide button at the right end of the row of purple buttons.
