Reading an SD in another language

Summary The Translate tab on an SD uses AI to translate the whole SD into the language you choose. Only your screen changes: the SD stays as it is for everyone else, and nothing is saved.

Steps

Step 1

Open the SD. In its menu bar, click Translate (scroll the menu bar to the right if you can't see it).

Step 2

A panel opens on the right: "Select Language for Translation". Choose your language from the list.

Step 3

Wait a few seconds. The panel closes, and the SD's headings, notes and steps appear in your language.

Step 4

Only your screen changes. The SD stays in its original language for everyone else, and nothing is saved.

Step 5

PaT's own names are translated too, such as Out Of Office or To Do, so they may not match the buttons you see in PaT.

Step 6

The SD's refresh button keeps the translation. To see the original again, close the SD and open it again.

Step 7

Choosing another language translates the text already on screen, not the original. So open the SD again before you switch to a different language.
