Summary Live Health and Safety (H&S) Reporting shows your company's H&S metrics in Work Safety On-line (WSOL). It lets you monitor incidents and hazards in real time and respond to them quickly, reducing the risk of injury and promoting a safer work environment. It also helps ensure compliance with safety regulations and helps you identify trends and prevent future accidents.
The metrics cover a rolling 12 months by default, or dates you choose, with totals such as hazards raised and closed, severe hazards, accidents and lost-time injuries. You can break the figures down by role, department, person or branch, see training compliance and safe walks, compare this year to date with last year, and see where on the body accidents have happened.
Steps
Step 1
Start on your PaT dashboard, with the Task Wall showing.
Step 2
Click the toggle switch in the row of icons at the top right of the screen, between the gauge and the headset. The tile view opens, with your tiles at the top and a list of sections below them.
Step 3
In the list of sections below the tiles, click Work Safety On-line (WSOL). It expands to show a row of WSOL tiles.
Step 4
Click WSOL Metrics, the first tile in the row. The WSOL Metrics: Total Hazards panel opens.
Step 5
The panel is set to a rolling 12 month period by default: at its top left, the round button next to 12 month rolling is selected.
Step 6
To choose your own dates instead, click the second round button, to the right of the selected one.
Step 7
Set the dates of the data you want to see: the start date in From and the end date in To, to the right of the round buttons.

Step 8
Below the dates, eight circles give the figures for the period: - Total Hazards - Hazards Closed - Severe Hazards - Hazards not closed in 48 hrs - Total Accidents - Accidents not closed in 48 hrs - Loss Time Injury - Medical Time Injury The panel's title names the circle that is selected. Total Hazards is selected by default, so the rest of the panel starts by showing Total Hazards.
Step 9
To the right of the circles, a bar chart shows the total hazards raised by role (Raised By Role). You can also filter this data by Department, Person or Branch, with Raised By Dept, Raised By Person and Raised By Branch above the chart.
Step 10
At the right of the panel, two rings show the company's H&S Training Compliance (H&S Training) and its H&S SafeWalks.
Step 11
Below the circles, the History of Total Hazards chart shows total hazards month by month over the last 12 months.
Step 12
At the bottom right are the to-date figures: MTD (month to date), QTD (quarter to date) and YTD (year to date). Beside each is last year's figure for the same period (LYMTD, LYQTD and LYTD). To compare this year's to-date figures with last year's, read the variance under VAR.

Step 13
To look at another measure, click its circle. For example, click Total Accidents, the third circle in the top row.
Step 14
The rest of the panel updates to show Total Accidents in the past 12 months: the title changes to WSOL Metrics: Total Accidents, the chart to History of Total Accidents, and the to-date figures change to match.
Step 15
A body diagram also appears at the bottom right. It shows where on the body accidents to staff members have happened in the last 12 months, with a number against each part of the body, such as the head, back and hand.
