Summary Your profile holds your personal details and your PaT settings. Open it by clicking your picture at the top centre of PaT. Its six tabs cover key details, such as your name, photo and password; contact info, including the emergency contact every employee must have; medical notes; employment forms; company assets issued to you; and system settings, such as your dashboard type, the days and times tasks can't be due, your time zone, email forwarding to your BFF and your Out of Office.
Steps
Step 1
Click your picture at the top centre of the PaT screen, between Certification and Integrity. Your profile opens, titled my Profile.
Step 2
Your profile has 6 tabs, across the top of the page: key details, contact info, medical, forms, assets and system.
Key details
Step 3
Start with key details, the first tab. The profile opens on it.
Step 4
On the left of the tab, you can edit your First Name and Last Name, tick Block Task Emails to block task emails, and edit your Date of Birth.
Step 5
In the centre, you can update your profile image. Drag and drop an image onto the picture, or click it to browse your device and upload an image. Under the picture it says Drop your image here or click to add one!
Step 6
Your tenure details are under the picture: your Start date and your Tenure.
Step 7
On the right of the tab, you can edit your password, in Password and Confirm Password. Note. You cannot change your User Name once your account has been set up. By default it is your email address.
Step 8
You can, however, edit your Security Email, under the password fields. This is the email address that PaT sends its notifications to.
Contact info, medical, forms and assets
Step 9
Click the contact info tab, the second tab. It has four sections: Phone, Address, Relatives and Email.
Step 10
Most of the sections are self-explanatory, but the most important is Relatives: it is where you put your emergency contact details. Click Relatives. Its table opens.
Step 11
Fill in the table with your relatives' details, one row each: Type, Salutation, First Name, Last Name and Birthdate. Then make one of them your emergency contact by ticking their Emergency Contact box. This is very important: every employee must have an emergency contact listed in their profile.
Step 12
Click the medical tab, the third tab.
Step 13
If you have any medical notes you would like to disclose, type them in the box under Add any medical notes here.
Step 14
Click the forms tab, the fourth tab.
Step 15
This is where HR uploads your employment forms, such as your resume, employment contract, security check and job description. The tab lists Mandatory Forms to upload on the left, and user uploads on the right, with a search box.
Step 16
Click the assets tab, the fifth tab.
Step 17
The asset register records the items the company has provided to you, for example uniforms, security keys and cards, and tool belts. HR manages it at first, as part of your induction.
System
Step 18
Click the system tab, the last tab.
Step 19
On the left of the tab, you can: - choose your Dashboard Type; - block tasks being due before and after certain times, with Block Tasks Before and Block Tasks After; - hide the task wall image, with Hide TaskWall Image; - use the chat wall for chats instead of the chat panel, with Use Chat Wall for chats; - open the form wall at startup, with Open FormWall at startup.
Step 20
You can also set up email forwarding to your BFF, in Sd for Emails Forwarded to Bff@yourorg, under those options. The Email to BFF module covers it.
Step 21
On the right of the tab, you can block tasks being due on certain days. There is a tick box for each day, from Block Tasks on Mondays to Block Tasks on Sundays. For example, tick Saturdays and Sundays so tasks can't be due at the weekend.
Step 22
Under the days, choose your time zone in Select your Timezone.
Step 23
Lastly, manage your Out of Office (OOF) with the Manage Out of Office (OOF) button, under the time zone. The Out Of Office: turning it on, and the calendar on your Task Wall module covers managing your OOF.
